Chakra Balancing - add on

This modality can be ADDED to any massage session. In Sanskrit, the Chakra literally means spinning disc. The body chakras then are spinning discs of energy--whirling vortexes that receive, assimilate, and transmit life force energy. Plainly put, our chakras are the link between mind and body, spirit and matter. The chakras are constantly rotating and vibrating along our spine, communicating with our glands and endocrine system, providing them with vital energy and the spark of life.

90 Minutes Therapeutic Massage & Energy Work

This 90 Minutes Therapeutic Massage Session and Energy Work is a combination of all Massage Specialties meshed with Reiki and Quantum Touch Energy. The life force energy is ran from Cranial to Sacrum to ease back and hip pain. The Therapeutic Massage technique will work in tandem with the energy flow to ease all constricted muscles that are causing aches and pains.

Two Hour Therapeutic Massage & Reiki Energy Combo

Wonderful blend of both Massage and Reiki Energy Work. Helps to release the physical discomforts from the day to day life demands. But also helps to release the emotional stresses and strains mentally that we "keep in" by using the beautiful lifeforce energy that helps to balance and restore from the inside out. It's a collaboration of all the modalities I have had the pleasure of studying. It's a contemporary mesh of Quantum Touch, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Emotion Code, TMJ studies (20 years working experience in the Dental Field), Therapeutic Massage Therapy, Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, and Massage Relaxation Techniques.  The perfect de-stressing session!

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain. This session will combine both techniques of Reiki and Quantum Touch. I am certified Reiki level 2.

Long Distance, or remote, is performed in the same manner- but you simply do not have to come into the office. You may be on the phone with me or simply in your "quiet" during the designated time. It's great for those times that you can't or just simply prefer not to commute to my office and stay at home!

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques in order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.
